"In January 2013, I was diagnosed with brain seizure. I took seizure pills till August 2014. I reacted to the seizure pills -- I think I changed prescriptions about 13 times. My lifestyle was laying down on the floor or not the bed due to dizziness and just not feeling right. I also took anxiety pills 4 times a day, and this worsened my condition. I decided to have a second opinion, and I was told that I did not have brain seizure, and that I should stop all medications. This happened in August of 2014. Stopping all meds put me into the depths of hell, and I thought I was going crazy when I stopped taking the anxiety pills.

In December 2014, I decided to seek help, not from a doctor, but from my neighbor Rachel. When I went for my first session with Rachel, my legs were weak and wobbly, but after that session, I felt stronger.

Through meditation, talking to Rachel about anything and everything, and the use of essential oils, my life has taken a 360 degree turn for the better. I was able to go to Japan in June 2015. I am able to do my chores, and participate in outside activities. Breathe, surrender, and gratitude -- such awe-inspiring words to put into practice in my daily life. Thank You, Rachel!" - J

"In 1990 I took my first and second level Reiki Training from Reiki Master Helen Haberly who worked with Takata Sensei for nineteen years. I worked with many people to help relieve their suffering and return them to health. After moving to the Big Island from Oahu, I started thinking about completing my training and becoming a Reiki Master. I finally started to get serious about it in 2012 and started looking for the Reiki Master that was right for me. Reiki training at the master level is a very personal experience and finding the right master for me was a daunting task. Some of the masters I considered I had known for several years and I knew them to be highly regarded. However, for one reason or another, they weren’t right for me. As the saying goes, “…when the student is ready the master will appear,” as so it was with Reiki Master Rachel Short.

In 2015, I started my training with Master Short. I found her to be deeply spiritual and totally professional in her approach to Reiki and her method of training. As part of my training, I attended one of her second level workshops. I resisted the idea at first because I had been attuned to second level twenty-five years earlier. However, I was glad that I attended her class and received a second attunement to second level. I watched a true Reiki Master in action, she was focused and direct and her students easily mastered the techniques of second level under her direction.

I look forward to working with her again and I highly recommend Reiki Master Rachel Short for those who are seeking Reiki training.

Me Ke Aloha" - Reverend Bob Belcher - Reiki Master/Teacher
